Alder is an excellent choice for countertops, restaurant tabletops, bar tops, butcher blocks, furniture, railings, and other applications, because it can be finished in almost any style or technique.
The light fine-grained surface takes dyes, stains, natural oils, and paints very well.
Beautiful in its own right, Alder can easily match Cherry, Walnut, Maple, Mahogany, Aspen and Birch finishes. Furthermore, it is also a CNC Router and Laser friendly wood that can use today’s latest manufacturing tools. We use only the finest Alder available, from Pacific Northwest local mills.
